Make it fit, make it work.
Changing tone, changing pace.
Changing scenes, changing emotions.

Inspiration, imagination, intonation.
Characterisation, dramatisation, specification …
It’s all required
In part, in whole.
In truth, in life.

Think of the audience, think of the readers.
Prepare to fail, plan to win, don’t plan to lose.
